Meet Ryan and Craig 

 

Ryan Harman (co-director) is a filmmaker from New York, NY. He grew up in rural northern Idaho. He has a BA in architecture from Columbia University, and has worked in contemporary art for most of his adult life. He worked as a preparator at the not-for-profit alternative art space Participant, Inc. in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Currently he teaches film at Stony Brook University. FORT is his first film directed with his partner, Craig Hunter. 

 

Craig Hunter (co-director) is a visual artist based in New York City. Originally from Houston, Texas, where he studied English Literature and creative writing, Hunter moved to the East Coast to focus on textile art, painting and illustration. For 8 years, he ran Seagull Salon, queer hair salon in downtown Manhattan and now works in digital marketing. FORT is his first film.
